Do you provide tours ?
Yes! We schedule 1:1 tours with our Lead Teacher for you and your kiddo (if you choose!) to check our our facility and ask any and all the questions. We also host an Open House event each March and in the summer depending on enrollment.
How much is tuition?
Pre-K (4-5 Year Olds): $650/month
3/4 Class: $375/month
Is there additional cost to me?
There is a one time registration fee of $120 and supply fee is $100 for 3/4 class class and $150 for the Pre-K (4/5) class! You are not required to provide any additional school supplies at the beginning of the year. Your child will just need to bring a backpack each day!
What is the weekly class schedule?
Pre-K (4/5) Class: Monday - Friday from 8:45am - 11:45am.
3/4 Class: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12:45pm - 3:00pm.
Can I be involved in the classroom?
Yes, SICP has an open door policy to parents to be involved as much as you want, whenever you want. This can include staying for longer goodbyes if you child struggles watching you leave, or volunteering in the classroom more formally.
What does your curriculum consist of?
We are a play based, child lead program! Your child has every opportunity to learn their own way! Prepare for them to have free reign on getting messy and exploring. We seek to support their individual development in an atmosphere where children can explore their environment and the world around them through Reggio inspired play based learning.
How old does my child have to be?
Your child is required to be the qualifying age for each class no later than August 31st!
Does my child need to be toilet trained?
No, children do not need to be toilet trained to attend either class.
Do I have to be a Steamboat Island resident?
No! We have families from all over the county and we love our Mason County families too.
