We are currently hiring for a part-time Teacher Assistant!

Job Duties & Expectations:

• Help manage classroom with strategies modeled by the Lead Teacher
  
• Assist children in regulating their emotions
• Maintain and clean the classroom during working hours
• Run circle time with children & lead children in various activities
• Help prep for various activities & prepare snack
• Assist Lead Teacher in strategizing for activities focused on the children’s interests
• Encourage families to participate as much as they would like, build relationships with enrolled families and always promote a welcoming environment
• Be willing to critically look at your own areas of growth and strive for improvement
• Help with bathroom needs (occasional pull-up changing)
• Bring your own ideas & passions into the classroom & work as a team
• Able to communicate to ensure a positive and healthy work environment for all
• Hold yourself to a high professional and ethical standard

Hiring Process:
Applicants must submit a current and up to date resume with references and a letter of interest by the due date. After the first review of the candidates and associated materials, candidates will be invited to participate in an in person interview.

Successful interview candidate will move on to a background check.

Schedule & Salary

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Weekly-8:30am-3:15pm (6.75 hours per day)
• 20.25 Hours Per Week
• $18.25 Per Hour * Dependent on Enrollment and contract negotiation
• 7 sick days: January through June
